Pancho Munoz (owner) was born in Mexicali, Mexico, but later left Baja and moved to Los Angeles, California. While there he enjoyed the array food choices and worked at several restaurants. Pancho’s dream was to someday manage his own restaurant. On a whim, Pancho, his cousin and a friend drove to Fort Myers Beach, Florida to open a taco stand as an adventure and in hope of success. They ended up opening "Chile Caliente" located across Lani Kai in Fort Myers beach, then after a year he was offered an opportunity to build a restaurant in Golden Gate city and called it Taco Ardiente. They turned the concept into a series of Taco Ardiente restaurants throughout the area. After years of success, Pancho decided to venture out on his own and opened his first restaurant in Bonita Springs called "Taco Pancho" and in 2007 he opened his second location in Cape Coral, FL.
Concept
Taco Pancho’s concept is a fast-casual Mexican restaurant that offers patrons authentic Mexican food at low cost. Our food is fresh and made to order. You’ll find no other Mexican fast food restaurant in the Cape and Bonita Springs that has a wide variety of menu items as ours. We serve Mexican favorites like Enchiladas, Burritos, Quesadillas, Chimichangas, and a variety of tacos. Breakfast burritos, combo specials, and daily specials are also available.
We purchase our produce from local farmers and local butchers and strive to keep cost low without skimping on the savoring flavors of the authentic dishes that please all. We hand-cut our tortillas several times a day to make fresh chips and our hard shells tacos are made fresh every day. Our tomato salsa, homemade hot sauce, and guacamole are prepared daily to ensure freshness. Our meats are marinated early each morning and simmered for several hours.
Jessica Vasquez (Pancho’s sister) operates the Bonita Springs location. When you find yourself in either area, we welcome you to stop by and try our food. Our goal is to continue serving the local community for many years to come.
